TreeLine Wines

TreeLine wines are made from grapes harvested from a large 4,000 acre property along the Murray River near Mildura. This region is famous for its high number of sunny days and the grapes are grown with a strictly controlled irrigation to both preserve water and also to ensure the best blend of skin to juice ratios that creates a quality and style that is distinctive.

The wines are transported to a state of the art winery where they are crushed and fermented in large stainless steel tanks, the reds retain their skins for fermentation and the whites are crushed and immediately cooled to ideal temperature for best acid/fruit balance. Quality control is tight across batches and over time as the winemaker has to control the blends to ensure commonality for blends throughout their cycle.

Oak is added to the red wines to provide that extra strength to round out he wines. The whites are oak free and made in a young fresh style.

The Shiraz Cabernet won the Silver Medal and top of Class at the Sep 2009 Food and Hotel Association show in Bangkok. It actually took the award for the category above its price point.

Shiraz Cabernet 2013

Medium bodied with strong undercurrent of spice and blackberry/plum notes. This wine has reasonable acid balance and a soft mouth feel. The oak is restrained and does not overpower the fruit. Best with beef dishes and also acceptable for drinking on its own.

Chardonnay 2013

Lighter in style than its predecessors. This provides a more fresh fruit approach with less wood and more zesty peach and lemon characteristics. Mildly acid, it will work well with dishes such as crab and creamy pasta dishes. It works well for afternoon drinking by the pool.
